A quick reminder about ISO standards
ISO standards are international rules designed to unify standards across the world in areas such as quality and safety.
At Marrel, regulatory monitoring is carried out by our Quality, Health, Safety and Environment department, which works every day to ensure that the company complies with quality, health, safety and environmental standards and regulations, thereby guaranteeing that results comply with regulatory requirements.
ISO 9001 certification
– Continous improvement of processes
ISO 9001 is defined as the international standard that specifies requirements for the Quality Management System where companies have to focus their efforts to guarantee customer satisfaction and improve performance.
We have been ISO 9001 certified for over 20 years. We are committed to guaranteeing customer satisfaction, quality of our products and services, and continuous improvement of our processes.
A few examples of actions carried out by our teams :
- Standardisation of self-checking operations
- Deployment of various continuous improvement tools (5S, 8D…)
- Implementation of „Rally field audits“ covering the following criteria: methods, resources, manpower, materials, environment and safety.
ISO 14001 certification,
– Environmental management
ISO 14001 is an international guide to environmental protection, which enables a company’s environmental management system to be integrated into :
> A compliance with national and international regulations
> An initiative to improve and enhance its image in the eyes of customers, local residents and institutions.
We have been ISO 14001 certified since 2021. Every day, we continue to implement new practices to go even further and contribute at our level to the collective effort needed to protect the environment.
Among the actions carried out in recent years:
- Extension of our environmental initiatives to our suppliers and subcontractors
- Improvement of our monitoring of environmental regulations
- Promototion of modes of transport that have a more limited impact on the environment, with the introduction of a ’sustainable mobility‘ package for employees.
